On the night of February 26, 2012 17 year old Trayvon Martin was shot and killed by George Zimmerman as he walked home from the convenience store after purchasing some snacks. There was a public outcry and after 44 days Zimmerman was arrested for the murder.

In recent weeks an open complaint letter from Tennis Pro Arthur Hicks to LIAT (Leeward Island Air Transport) found its way into the hands of Sir Richard Branson founder of Virgin Airlines.
Sir Richard tweeted the letter to more than 3 million of his followers on Twitter and the letter went viral.

Johnnie Wilder, born on July 3rd, 1949, was the co-founder and lead vocalist of the international R&B/funk Heatwave.
During the late 1970s the group had 5 Top 40 R&B such as "Boogie Nights," "Mind Blowing Decisions," "Always and Forever," and "The Groove Line," on which Wilder sang co-lead vocals. The hits including 3 platinum singles and 2 platinum albums (Too Hot To Handle and Central Heating).
Bet awards performance: Beenie Man and Elephant Man set the show pon fire!
Beenie Man and Elephant Man appeared on the 2013 BET Awards show along with Dawn Penn opening the session, performing her 1994 mega hit “You Don't Love Me (No, No, No)” and Nicki Minaj showing her “stuff”.
Chaka Demus and Pliers followed with “Murder She Wrote” with most of the audience gyrating Beenie Man entered belting out Who am I, Romie, Girls Dem Sugar, Drinking Rum and Redbull.
